Qualification

Good educational work must be learned

The Inclusive Education Saxony-Anhalt-qualification offers people with disabilities comprehensive training to become educational specialists. The full-time qualification lasts three years and follows a module handbook with corresponding qualification goals, content, and examination requirements. It includes the following modules:

  1. Work and Education::
    The structure and significance of work and education in the context of disabilities and participation in society.
  2. Participation:
    Understanding participation, democracy, institutions, and their role in society. Participation in politics and related rights.
  3. Practice of educational work:
    Conveying the needs, worldviews, and perspectives of people with disabilities. Planning, executing, evaluating, and reflecting on educational work.
  4. Methods, tools, and techniques of educational work.
  5. Final module:
    The core of the training is the practical module, which is designed as a dual approach. It runs through the entire qualification process and contains increasingly complex educational tasks at technical and higher education institutions. With the module handbook, competency orientation, training scope, and integration into educational work at participating universities, the Competence Center for Inclusive Education Saxony-Anhalt ensures a high standard of quality that allows educational specialists to establish themselves in the field of education in the long term and create job opportunities.
